Higashi Makiyama Yakushido
It is a wooden yosemune (roof with slopes on all four sides) with a thatched roof, and is the oldest of the city's yotsuashi halls, along with the "Yotsuashi Hall of the Tani(Valley)," which is a tangible cultural property (building) designated by the city. The width and depth of the hall are both about 6 meters. The floor is covered with nuguita, and the walls are covered with hip boards except for the space between the pillars in the center of the front. The roof is now covered with iron sheets for protection. There is a small amount of coloration on the zushi. There used to be a statue of Yakushi Nyorai, a tangible cultural property (sculpture) designated by the city as the main deity, but it has been moved to another location for storage reasons.
